Introduction

Welcome! I’m Dr. Christina Bulleit, a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of my community here in Tampa Bay. I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL and feel fortunate to practice in a place that means so much to me.

I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and went on to complete my psychiatry residency at the University of Florida, where I served as Administrative Chief Resident. My training taught me to combine clinical knowledge with empathy and curiosity, while taking a holistic view of the physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that affect mental health.

My family is originally from Ikaria, a Greek island known as one of the world’s Blue Zones- communities recognized for their remarkable lifespan and health. Growing up, I saw the benefits of strong community connections, nourishing food, natural movement, and a balanced approach to life. I carry these principles into my practice, supporting not just symptom relief, but overall mental and physical well-being and resilience.

I also have a special interest in women’s mental health, including reproductive and perinatal psychiatry. I enjoy caring for women through life transitions, fertility challenges, pregnancy and postpartum, perimenopause that uniquely shape emotional well-being. Outside of my practice, I’m also a mom, which deepens my appreciation for the challenges and transitions that come with pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.

Whether we meet in person or through virtual visits, my goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard and supported as we work together toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
